I was thinking that Just Desserts could hold a little contest, both for fun and to better serve our customers. Our cheesecakes have been getting a lot of attention lately -- one, because they're new and two, because they don't give anyone food poisoning -- and we only have a small selection of flavours right now. So we'd like to hear what cheesecake flavours all of you want to start seeing offered. Just come by our shop, and we will have a form for you to fill out and place into a jar at the check-out counter.
The staff here will judge the entries and choose the top three, after which we'll let everyone vote which one they'd like to see offered the most.
Flavour suggestions will be accepted until March 14th.
The winner will get a free cheesecake of their suggested flavour, and credit on our menu. We look forward to seeing everyone's ideas!

Also, did you see what Lindsay McKinnon said? Maybe we should put a tracking charm on it. Sure, someone will probably check it for spells, but I think it's a win/win either way. Either they find the charms and she feels less safe, or they don't and we have a way to keep tabs on her. Sort of. Unless someone's babysitting her cats.
Maybe there's some other spell we could do.
I love it when the public gets angry and gives us ideas.

Valentine's Day at Just Desserts has been great so far. We've been making a killi lot of sales today. At the rate things have been going, we're going to run out soon, so if you've forgotten to get the special witch or wizard in your life a gift for today you should hurry over! We have very few heart shaped cheesecakes and Sweetheart Cakes left. I'd be surprised if we have any left tomorrow for post-holiday price slashes!

We have a lot of exciting plans for next month here at Just Desserts. It's never too soon to start planning for Valentine's Day. We get a lot of orders early, actually, because people want to make sure that we'll have time to make their desserts. We get backed up with orders on holidays pretty quick, so if you're thinking of getting a cake or some pastries for Valentine's Day, I'd start thinking about getting prepared.
Starting on the 1st of February, we'll be selling cheesecakes as a new addition to our permanent menu, but as a special Valentine's Day treat we'll be offering them in the shape of hearts. You can get them in square, rectangle, or circle shapes too if you want, but just from now until Valentine's Day you'll be able to order them a special shape. Well, not any shape. Just in a heart shape.
We'll also be selling 'Sweetheart Cakes' -- personal sized two-tiered mini cakes decorated in Valentine's Day colors and themes. Each cake will have a short, random sentimental message written on them such as 'BE MINE' or 'I LOVE YOU'. As a special deal, if you buy one you get a second Sweetheart Cake free to share with that special witch or wizard in your life.
We have many flavours to choose from for both our cheesecakes and Sweetheart Cakes, feel free to stop by and check out our menu, but if there's a certain flavour you're curious about just ask. We can also personalise any decorations to your specifications, but we need at least three days for custom orders. Of course, we'll be busier with the holiday rush, so the sooner you place your orders the better.
